Langley Minor Lacrosse Association is proud to be hosting the 2025 Thunderstrike Tournament at Willoughby and Yorkson Community Parks, encompassing 5 fields. We are looking forward to welcoming teams to the largest Youth Field Lacrosse tournament in Western Canada.
The Thunderstrike Field Lacrosse Tournament will be held from October 10-12, 2025, with games starting as early as 8am on Friday, October 10. Medal games will conclude on Sunday, October 12.
Teams traveling from out-of-province/out-of-country must hold current $5 million liability insurance coverage and have travel medical insurance coverage for all players and team personnel. Copies of insurance documentation must be provided two weeks prior to the start of the tournament (September 30).

Round Robin and Semi Final Games will be 2 x 22 minute halfs, with a 5 minute break between the halfs. Games will start promptly on the hour.
Medal Games will be 4 x 15 minute quarters with a 2 minute break for the 1st and 3rd break, and 5 minutes at the half.
The Tournament Committee is currently working to provide options for teams to purchase Tournament Game Film. More information will be provided as details are confirmed.

Betty’s Corner is on site at the Willoughby Park Complex. It can be found on the bottom level of the Fieldhouse building, between the NorthWest and NorthEast turfs.
Willoughby and Yorkson Community Parks are close to multiple restaurants and grocery stores, primarily along 200th Street.

In previous years we have welcomed teams from across the province of BC.
We are expecting teams from across British Columbia, Alberta, as well as clubs from the United States.
You should expect to compete against new opponents on the turf, and enjoy meeting fellow lacrosse players from diverse geographic areas.
The tournament does not have accomodation packages but there are many places to stay in Langley. Please check out the Tourism Langley website for details.
